December has been a busy month for us here at Deupree House. We started December with flair, and we’re all set to start 2016 off right! Just take a look at a few of the highlights from this month’s schedule of events.

Tuesday, December 1

7:30 PM: Irene Calderon in Concert

We’re very pleased to welcome 11-year-old flutist, pianist, and violinist, Irene Calderon, for a special program. Irene currently attends Summit Country Day, and she’s been playing the flute, piano, and violin for quite some time.  She dreams of one day becoming a music therapist and she is looking forward to performing here at Deupree!

1:00 PM: Bus to Blue Manatee

Are you looking for the perfect gift for the small children in your lives?  Well, join us on an outing to one of the nation’s largest independent children’s bookstores, Blue Manatee.  They specialize in “classics” that are ever-popular with grandparents.  The store is owned by the son of our very own Dr. and Mrs. Hutton.  On our outing, the staff will tell us all about the favorites.  Be sure to bring your dollars!

2:00 PM: Meet and Greet

We have some talented artists in our community—here in Cincinnati and right here at Deupree House—and it’s a pleasure for us to share their fabulous works. This afternoon, come out and meet the artist featured in our dining room, Susan Mahan.
