5:30PM: A Taste of the Heritage Tradition
The Heritage Restaurant was a Cincinnati institution for years, and residents who have missed all of the delicious food had a special treat.
Deupree House’s very own Howard and Jan Melvin, once owners of The Heritage Restaurant, worked with our Dining team to bring The Heritage Restaurant back to life one more time! During this special Heritage Restaurant night, residents were able to try all of their old Heritage favorites. It was a night not to be missed!
7:30PM: Cincinnati Restaurant History
Directly after our “Taste of The Heritage Tradition” event, the Melvins were joined by Pete Juszczyk in the Event Center to give a talk on the historical restaurants of Greater Cincinnati. We had the chance to hear a firsthand account of the story of The Heritage and get a peek at the history behind some of our other favorite Cincinnati eateries—past and present.
