Welcome to Mindful Monday! Today Shannon Braun, director of ERS' Center for Memory Support and Inclusion, tells us about the middle stage of dementia, as Part Two of a three-part series.
In the middle stage, a person's memory deficits become more obvious, and it's harder for them to hide their lapses. They also lose the ability to manage their instrumental activities of daily living, such as taking medications, paying bills, cooking, cleaning and doing laundry.
