The bold vision of Episcopal Church Home’s 2020 Master Plan was to create an updated, modern living and care experience for our residents. To create a senior living experience that Louisville retirees expect and deserve. Today, we are proud to say that bold vision has been brought to life with our exceptional memory care, and skilled nursing households.
These changes, and others in dining and independent living, strengthen the ECH mission and legacy of serving older adults in a person-centered, innovative, and spiritually-based way while responding to changing market trends and consumer preferences.
To undergo the Master Plan work, we assembled a team of ERS and ECH leaders as well as industry experts. This team has been hard at work for more than a year defining the parameters of the project, collecting data including demographics, market trends, consumer preferences, and a campus assessment, and developing a plan.
The result? New finishes, modern amenities, exceptional care, expanded dining options, and a reimagined campus for residents at every stage of senior living.
After pausing admissions to our households during the construction phase of our new buildings, ECH admissions are now open for memory care, skilled care, and independent living. The new personal care center is under construction and will open in 2022.
In addition, our new community clubhouse provides a gathering area for residents to participate in activities and events as well as state-of-the-art wellness equipment to support our residents and help them to remain active and healthy.
We opened our new casual dining venue in the administration building that caters to the entire campus and offers the latest in dining trends to our residents and their guests. Grille75 features farm-to-table fresh ingredients and made-to-order entrees such as flatbreads, salads, and pasta dishes.
The cornerstone of our community, St. Luke Chapel remains on the campus and continues to offer interdenominational services for all of ECH’s residents and the community.
At ECH we are proud and thrilled to present our new campus to the community. With all these exciting changes, one thing remains the same. Our residents will continue to receive the renowned care for which ECH is known.
It is our desire to make meaningful contributions to the lives of our residents in a person-centered, small-house environment where the residents live life on their terms. If you are interested in this unique role, this setting may be the place where you belong!
The staff regularly provides care and stimulation to residents. They plan and host the activity and recreation programs of the household including individualized and group programs that encourage residents to pursue their interests.
We invite you take a tour and see how our bold vision has come to life. Our senior living communities are designed to provide our residents with the best possible experience, no matter what that means to them.
Although ECH is smaller, we still have the capacity to serve the community. Depending on a loved one’s unique care needs, the best course of action is to plan in advance.
