We’re not just waiting around for spring here at Deupree House. Senior living is in full swing all year round! This month, we have some extraordinary opportunities in addition to all of our regular events shuttle service to the usual Cincinnati Arts Association performances (how amazing was the Ballet’s Camelot last month?).

8:00 AM-5:00 PM: Book Giveaway
Our Library Committee periodically offers residents the chance to pick up some of our older books as the library makes room for new titles in our rotating stock. And there are always more than a few gems, just waiting to be picked up!
1:45 PM: bus to Rumpke Recycling Center
Deupree House is learning about what it takes to make a commitment to greener living!
We’re headed to Rumpke Recycling Center where we’ll have the chance to learn more about what happens to our recyclables once they are processed. It’s bound to be a surprise to see the staff sort through tons of recyclables in a matter of minutes!

4:30 PM: Poker Meeting
Our event coordinators are testing the waters to see if Deupree House residents are interested in reorganizing our weekly events schedule for the spring and summer. Residents who attended the meeting in the Conference Room were able to give their input on some changes that were proposed for our regular Poker Night.

7:00 PM: Wii Bowling Tournament
It’s time, once more, for the annual Deupree House Wii Bowling Tournament! Our residents will have their bowling shoes ready and your game faces on for this fun-filled fifth annual tournament in the Event Center.
